MASTERING MUSIC IN CYCLING Workshop

This workshop will lead you through the amazing world of music. You will learn more about music in general, how to use it in cycling classes, how to build a playlist and what tools you should use for an excellent customer experience. You will also practice how to use the music while teaching.

This session will combine theory with practice, tips and tricks, and will offer you a complete knowledge package to be able to build your own playlists and use them properly in cycling classes.

Music is passion and is one of the enablers of a successful cycling class.

YOU WILL LEARN

• About Music Theory,
• Recognize the BPM and the Master Beat,
• How to select and use the music in cycling classes,
• The correct technical way to use the music,
• Build a playlist using specific Platforms (MixMeister),
• How to get the maximum energy from your playlist to engage the participants,
• How to use the music to create the perfect class profile,
• The relationship between music and cadence, intensity zones and cycling techniques,
• All about the bass – practice sessions on a bike while using the laptop at the same time.

• CYCLING INSTRUCTOR COURSE DIPLOMA - PREFERRED

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• The education will contain self practice, so you need to bring a laptop and a MixMeister version installed.
• Students will receive educational materials in electronic format via e-mail.
• It is advisable to bring everything you need to take notes when the teachers ask you to.
• Filming is not allowed: only in very special moments during the workshop, with the consent and supervision of the teachers.
