MARTIAL ARTS TECHNIQUES Workshop
With influences from the Kyokushin and Ashihara Karate styles, this workshop was created for Martial Arts enthusiasts but also for group fitness profesionists. In this course you will learn a short history of Martial Arts, how important Martial Arts are in the lives of each of us, but also a lot of practice that includes techniques from traditional Martial Arts.
"Martial arts" refers to a multitude of combat training systems arranged and systematized over time. Generally speaking, these different systems or styles were created with one goal in mind: physically defeating opponents and defending against threats.
YOU WILL LEARN
- The first practical part involves one Masterclass that contains Martial Arts techniques performed to the rhythm of the music,
- In the theoretical part we will discuss both arm techniques, leg techniques and positioning often found in Martial Arts,
- Specific practice for:
- Arm Techniques,
- Foot Techniques,
- Defense and Attack Techniques,
- Defense and Attack Positioning and Dodges,
- Strategies for Planning a Group Class.

MASTER TRAINER: LAURENȚIU ILIESCU
Practitioner of Ashihara Karate since 2000, Laurentiu has been following the path of Martial Arts for 22 years and from his point of view the practice of Martial Arts never ends. During the years of practice he participated in countless national and international Kata (technique) and Kumite (fighting) competitions where he obtained bronze, silver and gold medals in all the categories he participated in. After finishing his sports career he became a group fitness instructor and personal trainer at the World Class clubs and has been inspiring participants to follow an active lifestyle ever since.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Bring towels and drinks for avoiding dishidratation during all day practice.
- Students will be provided with manuals in electronic format via e-mail.
- Better bring all necessary for taking notes when demanded by trainers.
- Video is not allowed: only in very specific moments of the education under trainer acceptance and supervision.
