PILATES PAIN PREVENTION Workshop

Pilates Pain Prevention is a workshop for Pilates instructors who want to strengthen their specific knowledge of the method, deepen the exercises in the Matwork repertoire and learn to adapt them for different postural conditions.

We will work with the exercises learned and taught in the basic course, which will be adapted according to the pathology. The anatomy part will also be studied into to better understand the role of each part involved in the movement so that we can adapt the exercises according to the needs of the clients and create personalized workouts as effective as possible for them.

YOU WILL LEARN:

• How to work 1 on 1,
• Adapting the exercises to different postural patologies,
• Getting more knowledge from the anatomy perspective of each exercise,
• Examples of problems and frequent patologies found in clasess.

PROGRAM:

8:00 – 9:00  Check-in

9:00 – 12:00 Education – first part

12:00 – 13:00 Break

13:00 – 16:00 Education – second part

MASTER TRAINER: CRISTINA CONSTANTINESU

"Kiki" is her nickname, and all top international presenters and Romanian friends know her by it. Kiki is the only international Romanian Presenter and can be also considered as the very first one. Ex martial art professional, Physiotherapist, she is also multi certified (Les Mills Programs, Pilates Move On Academy, different international events certifications…). She won a Reebok sponsorship by winning Reebok New Presenter contest in Spain, and also won a Presenter contract with FIF, the Italian Fitness Federation, who strongly catapulted her and Romania into the international fitness market.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

IMPORTANT ! Participants must have completed the Pilates Matwork Education.

• Bring towels and drinks for avoiding dishidratation during all day practice.
• Students will be provided with manuals in electronic format, via e-mail.
• Better bring all necessary for taking notes when demanded by trainers.
• Video is not allowed: Only in very specific moments of the education under trainer acceptance and supervision.

*For logistic reasons, some modifications may appear in the program of the course. These will be announced in due time for a better organization of the course.
